Locust Valley School Employees Association

The Locust Valley School Employees Association (LVSEA) is a union of over 380 educational employees dedicated to serving all children attending public schools in the Locust Valley Central School District. Our membership includes teachers, guidance counselors, library media specialists, social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, department chairs, K-12 coordinators, school related professionals and clerical staff.  We have been the exclusive bargaining agent for educators, school related personnel, and clerical staff in the Locust Valley public schools since 1966. Our local is part of the 525,000 member New York State United Teachers (NYSUT). We are affiliated nationally with the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the National Education Association (NEA), and are proud to be part of the AFL-CIO.
